Mehmet Akif Ersoy (1873 to 1936), poet of the Turkish national anthem, engraved on 925 sterling silver with the respect he is owed, accompanied by the star and crescent flag, a laurel branch and the first parliament building. This portrait of the Poet of Independence, who set the spirit of the National Struggle into verse, keeps the memory of the fight for independence alive in a collectible medallion.
